Whether you’re already navigating perimenopause, unsure, or simply preparing for the transition, Social Worker & Sexologist Emily West will lead you through this informative, down-to-earth, and interactive session. We’ll cover tools that can support you as well as practice gentle, evidence-based movement and breathwork exercises to connect with your shapeshifting body. It’s such a relief to understand what’s happening and discuss this journey with others. Give yourself the gift of a perimenopause and leave feeling empowered.

Healthy snacks and tea provided. Spaces are limited to 20. Investment is $50. Pre-registration required by Nov.19th.

Erotic Intimacy Playshop

3-5pm Probe Ottawa (it’s easy to become a member, or an extra $10/night)

Interested in adding more intimacy skills to your queer toolbox? In feeling more confident and sexy in your body as a lover? In connecting with new people and getting your erotic energy flowing for the night? Join us for some intimate fun!

This is a participatory event, and you will get a chance to partner up with different people as we practice breathwork, movement, and touch activities meant to build intimacy and connection quickly with new people. These skills are also meant to be carried home, out into your spicy lives!

All bodies welcome, appropriate for all levels of intimacy experience.

Queens Staff Thrive Week:

Survive and Thrive - Perimenopause

Building on Emily West’s popular Survive and Thrive training for mental wellness, this brief interactive workshop educated, normalized and empowered participants on their wild hormonal and physical journeys. Perimenopause and menopause can affect every area of one's life, and yet so many of us still don't fully understand how they work, nor how to not only survive the changes, but thrive throughout.
